Maintenance of Electric & Electronic Appliances
1)
INTRODUCTION
The
course is mainly designed for developing
the skills in electrical and electronic apploances like troubleshooting the faults in the gadgets
and also to the repair them. The
electrical and electronic equipment have seen major changes in this era of
revolution in science and technology. Hence, modern equipments coming up in the
market need trained people for proper handling and maintenance . Almost recent
devices are made totally automatic and rely on electric and electronic
components at both input as well as output
stages.
2) AIM
1) The aim of this short term course is to give the basics and
practice of Electric &
Electronic Appliances required in era of revolution in science and technology also develope skill among students for its easy
operation, proper usage and timely repairs.
2) To provide better employment
opportunity in local area and also in electrical
and electronic industries like Larsen and Tobrou, Reliance and TATA etc.
3) To increase the awareness about electronics and electricity
in society.
3)
OBJECTIVES
1) In this course, students are
immersed in practical, real world examples that illustrate how electricity
is distributed and used in their plants and facilities.
2) They’ll learn how to use electrical equipments in their everyday
life before moving on to an in-depth
discussion about major electrical components, where and how these components
work, and their purposes within electrical systems.
3) The goal of this basic
electrical training course is to teach students how to reduce equipment
downtime, improve overall efficiency and safety, and fix problems they’ve
been unable to solve on their own.
4) COURCE
STRUCTURE
The
coures will comprise of both theory and
practicals. However emphasis will be given to practicals. The ratio of theory
to practicals will be 60 to 40 percent. The
theory is meant for understanding the need of the equipment and to know on
which basic principle it works. These thing have a top priority when it comes to devising a device or
for upgrading the earlier ones.
5) FIELD WORK
This is a must in such short term coures mainly
focussing on recruiting candidates in job sector or for getting self employed . There are many industries which provide
training programs to make the candidates fit for absorbing them in
industies like Kirloskar group of
company also provides training for repairing
their power devices.
6) DEVELOPMENT OF SKILL
Skills that can be developed are electrical wiring, repair of electrical gadgets like fan
,mixer, grinder, refrigerator, microwave oven, radio, washing machine. Also one
can develops skills for repair of electronic devices like mobiles, computer,
laptops and LCD TV. All these equipment are inseparable part of our life . One
can even become an operator for modern equipments especially in health care
like CT scan, MRI, Sonograpy, X-ray, laser therapies and many more.
